Kate Bullard Psychotherapist

Kate received her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. During her graduate studies, Kate volunteered with Margaret Ann’s place where she was trained in grief therapy and co-facilitated grief groups. In addition, Kate also worked at Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center (ODTC), a residential facility of which cares for children and adolescents who are duly diagnosed with mental health and developmental diagnoses. As an intern, Kate worked with Walworth County Health and Human Services where she met with clientele individually, facilitated parenting groups, children’s behavioral groups as well as Intensive Outpatient groups for addiction recovery. Kate has also volunteered with women’s and children’s Horizons where she was trained to help victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse.

Kate has worked in many different mental health settings and extensively with children/adolescents and their families. Kate is trained in CBT, EMDR, DBT Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered, Active Parenting, and many more therapeutic modalities. Because she has been trained to use many different methods, her style is eclectic. Kate will incorporate different therapeutic methods in order to address the unique needs of her clients. However, Kate feels that EMDR is by far the most effective therapeutic method she uses. Kate feels it is a privilege to work with her clients and provides all of her clients with personalized, unbiased and supportive care.
