Meet Our Therapists

Stefanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds Master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Stefanie is a Certified Sex Informed Therapy Provider  and a Certified Dialectal Behavior Therapist. Stefanie specializes in working with adults looking to challenge perfectionist thinking, individuals struggling with low self-worth/poor self-esteem, boundary setting, depression, and those looking to challenge societal norms! Stefanie has worked in a variety of settings including a psychiatric hospital as well as outpatient private practice.

Stefanie’s theoretical orientation is eclectic, most often utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. She strongly values continuing education and enjoys learning new and creative therapeutic approaches. Stefanie also believes the therapeutic relationship is an important part of therapy and spends time building this relationship with each client. Areas of interest include: Perfectionism, issues related to identity (including sexual/gender identity), mood disorders, depression, adjustment disorders, anxiety, as well as sexual/intimacy/kink related issues.
